ELIGIBILITY

Members of the hostel are required to adhere to the following rules and instructions with regard to eligibiliity for applying for married apartments.

  • Students should submit the valid proof of marriage to be eligible for consideration in a prescribed format

  • The students desirous of married apartment should have valid registration at the time of application. Allotment is subject to following exclusion

    • PhD : Not eligible after 4 ½ years of their registration as their registration automatically gets cancelled at the end of 6th year
    • PhD(int): Not eligible after 6 ½ years of their registration as their registration automatically gets cancelled at the end of 8th year
    • MSc(engg): Not eligible after 1 ½ years of their registration as their registration automatically gets cancelled at the end of 3rd year
    • QIP: Not eligible after 3 years of their registration as they are required to stay only for 3 ½ years at the Institute

  • If both the couples are students of the Institute, only one can apply for the married apartment accommodation
